Join Janet Rigby at the Rigby Handcraft studio to learn everything you need to know to know about keeping your machine sewing for a lifetime! Whether you have a working machine that you want to learn how to maintain, or a machine that gives you nothing but problems, bring it in to this evening class! Janet will cover machine anatomy, maintenance and how to diagnose and fix any issues that may arise, as well as topics including:

Proper thread and needles

Threading and tensioning

What and when to oil

When is it time to get a new machine?

Students will leave this class with a deeper understanding of their machines, an informative handout, and a sewing machine “first aid kit.”

Cost: $45 + $10 Materials fee paid directly to instructor

BYOM: Bring Your Own Machine! They can be in any state, we will fix them during class.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED as space is limited! This class is intended for adults, but teens are welcome if accompanied by an adult participant.
